Free Paul
“Deutschland... Go Deutschland!” is what I have been chanting this World Cup, but I am not at all amused by the use of Paul the octopus by the Sea Life Aquarium in Germany as an oracle to predict who will win the FIFA tournament.
Octopuses are intelligent creatures and should not be caged in a small water tank. It is quite distressing that in some parts of the world, octopuses are eaten alive—and when people lose their fascination with Paul's predictions, he could also land up on a pan.
This is why PETA Germany has urged Sea Life Aquarium officials to release Paul into the national park waters off the south coast of France, where fishing is banned. Even though Paul’s prediction was correct yesterday, German fans were still cheering for Germany, so all those animal lovers should hold banners that say “Free Paul”, urging officials to release Paul.

I say PETA Germany should file a petition in court under wildlife act against Sea Life Aquarium officials due to the irresponsible behavior towards an innocent creature and putting it in a inhumane condition and god only knows how much pressure or stress must be that octopus under.
How can people act such inhumane way? After all its a living creature like us and feel same the as we do.
yeah right. if they let paul go some other people will capture it and eat it alive. paul is safe in the aquarium.
I dunt evn hv words to describe dis act....we had turned inhuman quite sum tym ago dis jus establishes dat once agagin......is dere ne living organism dat we r gonna leave nd let live...it seems we sure do OWN dis earth nd everythng in it.....DISGUSTING!!!
Pleading The German Govt To Pls Release Dis Innocent Creature...Octopuses are intelligent but THEY CANNOT PREDICT...Please Dont Try It On Them.
